Fleeting Skyward

“Hey…When life hits you hard, why is it hard to look up?”

“Do you think the sky’s the limit?”

“That’s what I believe, anyway.”

“…The sky hovers over everything. It holds the power of weather, which, if we know or not, ultimately controls our thinking. We are persuaded by this weather - moved. In our clothing, our activities, our characterization. The sky hides behind the clouds when rain comes; tough times. It shines and shows when it likes. Ultimately….we are like the sky. We hide during our hard times and cry what seems like forever. But, you know what’s behind those clouds? The sun and the vast sky. Behind those clouds, the sun still shines, the sky is still bright and blue. In turn, we inevitably emerge even stronger than before, shining brighter than ever, because we learn from those hard times.”

So in the end, the sky’s not the limit - you are the sky.”
